Rikke Jencel, BCBA, Psychologist

Rikke, our talented and multilingual BCBA. Fluent in French, English, and Norwegian, Rikke brings a wealth of experience and expertise to LUCREA. Since February 2019, she has been dedicated to supervising our therapists. As Program Director, she ensures the highest standards of care and support. Ryan Furuya, BCBA

With 12 years of clinical background, Ryan, our US-trained BCBA, has been making a difference since 2014. With a rich background of working with clients aged 1.5 to 60 years in diverse settings such as homes, schools, group homes, hospitals, and public spaces, their experience is unparalleled. Having worked in Seattle, Hawaii, and Japan, Ryan brings a deep understanding of various cultures, offering tailored support to families from all walks of life.

Mai Funahira, Speech Therapist

Mai, our Japanese dedicated speech-language-hearing therapist specializes in offering therapy primarily in Japanese. Since LUCREA, Inc. was established in 2016, Mai has been an integral part of our team, providing exceptional support and care. She has a wealth of experience, helping children navigate their unique language challenges. Mai also contributes her expertise as an advisor and lecturer at a special and speech-language school, sharing her knowledge and skills with students and professionals. With her extensive background and commitment to excellence, Mai is a trusted and invaluable resource in speech-language therapy.

With over 20 years of experience as a licensed clinician, Michael is fluent in both English and Tagalog and has been an essential part of LUCREA. since 2017. For the last 8 years, he has brought a wealth of expertise and a personalized approach to each client. Michael’s dedication, patience, and passion for early intervention make him a trusted and effective therapist for children and families.

Debbie Enriquez,
Physiotherapist,

Debbie, fluent in both English and Filipino, is a seasoned Special Education Teacher, Behavioral Therapist, and Physiotherapist with 18 years of experience. She excels in providing educational, therapeutic, and behavior management services to individuals with various developmental conditions, from early childhood to adulthood. Since joining LUCREA. in 2020, Debbie has been a driving force in helping her clients achieve their fullest potential through her innovative and compassionate approach.

Anaïs Blanquier
Developmental Psychologist

Anaïs Blanquier, proficient in both French and English, is a licensed Developmental Psychologist with a wealth of experience in Japan and France. She brings her expertise to serve the French community and multicultural families. Anaïs specializes in understanding and supporting the psychological well-being of children and adolescents, addressing a wide range of emotional, social, and cognitive challenges. Her commitment to evidence-based guidance aims to foster positive developmental outcomes, perfectly aligning with the mission of LUCREA.

Karen Tokeshi,

Karen has been an integral part of both the ABA clinical team and the Learning Support team at LUCREA, where she specializes in supporting both preschool and grade-level children with behavioral and academic needs in reading, writing, and math. Her role as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) allows her to provide tailored support that enhances learning outcomes for students.

Alisa Adkins
Junior Therapist

Alisa, whose first language is English, spent her junior high school years in Japan, becoming proficient in Japanese. She joined LUCREA in January 2023 and has a natural talent for evaluating children’s needs and strengths. Alisa excels in executing programs effectively, having successfully supported children as a school assistant aide, therapist in ABA programs, social skills training, and speech therapy. Her effectiveness as a therapist is evident in how easily children bond with her and enjoy working with her.

Mike Morita

Mike, fluent in English and proficient in Japanese, serves as an assistant therapist providing learning support programs exclusively in English at LUCREA. He joined the team in 2020, bringing a unique bilingual and bicultural background. Born in Japan, Mike spent most of his early years in the United States before returning to Japan for high school and university. With over five years of practical experience as a therapist and Learning Support teacher, Mike also lectures at an American University, sharing his expertise in therapeutic practices.

Yoko Sato, Director

Born in Hyogo, Japan, Yoko’s journey through her childhood laid the foundation for her international pursuits. After studying in Canada and returning to Tokyo, Yoko discovered her passion for expressive art therapy, igniting a deep interest in psychotherapy and spiritualism. She pursued her vision, graduating from Temple University, completing the BCaBA Program at Penn State University, and further training in Hawaii in Applied Behavior Analysis. Her career as a Speech-Language and Hearing Therapist grew, specializing in children’s development and education. In 2016, Yoko founded LUCREA, Inc., pioneering multicultural, multilingual support with a team of diverse clinicians dedicated to personalized clinical and educational programs.
